Amiya studied at Penrose Academy, has trained with Hanzo Artist Oscar Bond, and is certified in all methods of Aqua extensions. Amiya’s goal for her clients is for them to feel good about their color from when they first leave her chair until they come back for a touch-up. She believes everyone deserves to feel beautiful, be it a major change or simple maintenance. She loves making sure they leave with a killer style so they can see their cut and/or color in detail – a good blow-dry can go a long way!

Her inspiration for hair and style most often comes from 90’s TV shows – edgy, modern, and relaxed. A good color, cut, and outfit mean you won’t ever be underdressed! Her dream is to be part of a hair magazine or fashion show one day. Amiya feels that there’s a stylist for everyone at Rumors, regardless of what style you have or want to achieve. One of her favorite things to do for clients is any kind of new, trendy hairstyle – she loves when clients like to try new things!
